NOTE: It can take up to a month for your changes to have an impact, so you'll want to make sure that you do this ahead of time.
4. Include your own valuation - Once your home's Zestimate has been adjused, you'll be able to include your own value, based on a specific source.
This is where you'll want to have a true expert provide a Home Appraisal or a Comparative Market Analysis, which is always the best source. However, this can also vary, depending on who is performing the analysis, so it's imprtant to have the right professional that you can trust.
